Fair Play for Sports Betting
About the project
As digital partner for Apex Communications we brought the Fair Play for Sports Betting campaign online. The campaign was launched to campaign for fair, open and equal access to all european markets for EU-based sports betting operators.
The aim of the website was to provide information to policy makers regarding the EU gambling laws and also provide a one stop resource for European news updates.

Fair Play for Sports Betting
As with all our web developments the site was built using the Umbraco content management system. This allowed Apex to easily update their website from any location using the incredibly simple and fast Umbraco system.
Due to the nature of the campaign we built the architecture for the site to allow for easy rollout of additional languages. After a long research period we settled on a reusable architecture for multi-lingual websites. This allows for one-to-one content relations as well as allowing unique content per regional node.
We also implemented the Microsoft translation engine and built a system to managed outsourced human translations. This also had an API so it could be hooked into larger translation system or future bespoke code.
